Portal Customization

Use Settings -> Portal Customization to control affiliate-facing branding, resource links, and whether the portal should be indexed by search engines.

Editable Settings

  • Portal name, headline, and description
  • Help, terms, and privacy URLs
  • Accent/background/panel/text colors
  • Logo upload and logo layout
  • Search indexing toggle (allow_indexing)

These settings apply to the affiliate portal header and affiliate-facing pages. They do not change merchant dashboard branding.

  • Keep indexing disabled for private affiliate programs
  • Add help/legal URLs before inviting affiliates
  • Match color contrast for readability

Before You Invite Affiliates

Review the portal as an affiliate would see it:

  1. Confirm the portal name and headline are recognizable.
  2. Add support, terms, and privacy links if affiliates need them.
  3. Upload a logo only if it remains clear at small sizes.
  4. Keep color contrast high enough for readable dashboard text.
  5. Leave search indexing off unless the portal is intentionally public.

Search Indexing

allow_indexing controls the portal robots directive. Keep it off for private programs, invite-only campaigns, or programs where affiliate pages should not appear in search results.

Enable indexing only when the portal is intentionally public and the affiliate-facing copy is ready for search traffic.
