Billing, Team, and Account Settings

Use this guide to understand the admin surfaces that affect account access, billing state, and program-wide settings.

Billing Snapshot

Settings shows plan and billing status, including:

  • Plan ID and interval
  • Referral usage and limits
  • Tracking-blocked status and reason when billing issues exist

Billing status can affect tracking. If the account is blocked by billing, resolve the subscription or referral-limit issue before troubleshooting attribution.

Team Management

Settings -> Team supports:

  • Member invitations (role-based)
  • Affiliate invitations
  • Resend and revoke workflows

Roles in account membership:

  • owner
  • admin
  • member

Use the least privilege that lets the teammate do their job. Keep at least one owner or admin who can manage billing, settings, and access.

Notification Preferences

Both merchant users and affiliates can manage email notification preferences.

Merchant preferences affect account/operator emails. Affiliate preferences affect affiliate portal notifications such as payout marked paid notifications.

Account Settings

Common fields:

  • Name
  • Subdomain
  • Stripe account linkage
  • Payout method

The payout method controls how payout workflows expect recipient details and exports to behave. PayPal and Wise are export-assisted methods; Stripe remains required for payment tracking and commission calculation.

Operational Checklist

Before launch, confirm:

  1. Billing status is active or intentionally free.
  2. Stripe connection is active.
  3. At least one admin can manage settings.
  4. Team members have appropriate roles.
  5. The affiliate portal subdomain is saved.
  6. The payout method matches your intended payout workflow.
