Affiliate Dashboard and Settings
The affiliate portal gives each affiliate self-service visibility into links, earnings, payout status, and payout contact details. Affiliates should use the portal as their source of truth instead of asking the merchant to send links manually.
Dashboard Includes
- Referral link and promo code visibility
- Onboarding checklist
- Visitors, leads, and conversions
- Pending and paid commission summaries
- Payout history snapshot
The Promote section is where affiliates copy referral links. If an affiliate says they cannot find their link, ask them to open the dashboard and look for the campaign card in Promote.
Settings Includes
- Profile fields
- PayPal/Wise contact fields
- Notification preferences
Affiliates can update their PayPal or Wise contact details from portal settings. Those fields are used for export-assisted payout workflows.
When the merchant enables Stripe Global Payouts beta, the settings page shows a beta recipient-onboarding section. The affiliate selects their country and whether they are an individual or company, then completes Stripe’s hosted form. Stripe collects identity and bank information directly. If the recipient is inactive, restricted, or incomplete, the affiliate must update onboarding before the merchant retries the payout.
What Affiliates Cannot Do
Affiliates cannot:
- change campaign commission rules
- mark commissions or payouts paid
- create payout runs
- approve fraud-review outcomes
- create API keys or webhook endpoints
Those actions stay in the merchant dashboard.
Troubleshooting
Affiliate cannot access the portal
Check:
- The affiliate accepted the invitation or was onboarded directly.
- The affiliate is not archived or removed.
- The account affiliate portal subdomain is configured.
- They are signing in through the portal host for your account.
Affiliate payout details are missing
Ask the affiliate to open portal settings and complete the details for the account’s selected method. For PayPal or Wise, save the matching email. For Stripe Global Payouts beta, complete or update Stripe-hosted recipient onboarding.
