- Calculate commissions based on sales
- Manage affiliate payouts
- Integrate with Stripe for payment tracking
3. Account Registration
3.1 Account Requirements
To use AffiliateBase, you must:
- Provide accurate, complete registration information
- Maintain the security of your account credentials
- Promptly update any changes to your information
- Be at least 18 years old or the age of majority in your jurisdiction
- Not be on any sanctions or restricted business lists
3.2 Account Types
- Organization Accounts: Businesses using AffiliateBase to run affiliate programs
- Team Member Accounts: Users invited to manage an organization's affiliate program
- Affiliate Accounts: External partners who promote products via referral links
3.3 Account Security
You are responsible for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access at support@affiliatebase.com.
4. Stripe Integration
4.1 Stripe Connect
Our Service integrates with Stripe via OAuth. By connecting your Stripe account, you:
- Authorize us to access transaction data necessary for commission tracking
- Agree to Stripe's terms of service and privacy policy
- Understand that we receive webhook events for relevant transactions
4.2 Permissions
Our Stripe App requires the following permissions:

- Preserve historical data for record-keeping
- Not affect previously calculated or paid commissions
5. Use of Service
5.1 Permitted Use
You may use AffiliateBase to:
- Create legitimate affiliate marketing programs
- Track genuine customer referrals
- Calculate and pay affiliate commissions
- Generate reports and analytics
5.2 Prohibited Use
You may NOT use AffiliateBase to:
- Engage in fraudulent or deceptive practices
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
- Infringe intellectual property rights
- Transmit malware or harmful code
- Circumvent our fraud detection systems
- Create fake referrals or inflate metrics
- Process payments for prohibited businesses
- Resell or redistribute the Service without authorization
- Attempt to reverse engineer the Service
- Harass, abuse, or harm others
- Violate Stripe's acceptable use policy
5.3 Affiliate Program Requirements
Organizations using AffiliateBase must:
- Clearly disclose affiliate relationships as required by FTC guidelines
- Pay affiliates according to agreed terms
- Not use deceptive advertising practices
- Comply with applicable advertising and marketing laws
6. Fees and Payment
6.1 Subscription Plans
AffiliateBase offers various subscription plans. Fees are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. Current pricing is available on our pricing page.
6.2 Payment Terms
- Fees are non-refundable except as required by law
- We may change pricing with 30 days notice
- Overdue payments may result in service suspension
- You are responsible for applicable taxes
6.3 Affiliate Payouts
- Organizations are solely responsible for paying their affiliates
- AffiliateBase provides tools to calculate and export payout data
- We do not process affiliate payments on your behalf
- Payout timing and methods are determined by each organization
7. Commission Calculations
7.1 Attribution Rules
- Attribution is based on referral links, cookies, and promo codes
- Attribution priority: Promo Code > Referral Cookie > None
- First-touch attribution applies by default
- Cookie duration is configurable per campaign
7.2 Commission Processing
- Commissions are calculated automatically based on campaign settings
- Percentage commissions are calculated on net amounts (after discounts, before taxes)
- Commissions may be held pending for fraud review or refund periods
- Refunded transactions may result in voided or adjusted commissions
7.3 Disputes
Commission disputes should be resolved between organizations and their affiliates. We provide data and tools but do not arbitrate disputes.
8. Intellectual Property
8.1 Our Property
AffiliateBase, including its software, design, logos, and documentation, is owned by AffiliateBase, Inc. and protected by intellectual property laws. You receive a limited, non-exclusive license to use the Service.
8.2 Your Content
You retain ownership of data you submit to AffiliateBase. You grant us a license to use this data to provide and improve the Service.
8.3 Feedback
Any feedback or suggestions you provide may be used by us without obligation to you.
9. Privacy and Data
9.1 Privacy Policy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect data. By using the Service, you consent to our data practices.
9.2 Data Processing
For customers subject to GDPR, we act as a data processor for certain personal data. Our Data Processing Agreement is available upon request.

12. Limitation of Liability
12.1 Exclusion of Damages
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOST PROFITS, DATA LOSS, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION.
12.2 Liability Cap
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
12.3 Essential Purpose
THESE LIMITATIONS APPLY EVEN IF ANY REMEDY FAILS ITS ESSENTIAL PURPOSE.

14. Term and Termination

You may terminate by canceling your subscription and closing your account.

We may terminate or suspend your account for:
- Violation of these Terms
- Non-payment of fees
- Fraudulent or illegal activity
- Extended inactivity
- At our sole discretion with 30 days notice
14.4 Effect of Termination
Upon termination:
- Your access to the Service will cease
- You remain responsible for outstanding fees
