FirstPromoter Alternatives: Five Options by Use Case

Build a FirstPromoter shortlist around the billing providers, campaigns and commission rules already in use. A single Stripe product and a multi-provider subscription business need different replacements.

FirstPromoter supports several subscription billing providers and publishes revenue-based plan allowances. Keep those requirements visible when comparing alternatives. FirstPromoter official product and pricing information.

The five options below are grouped by evaluation fit, not ranked by an invented score. For a direct two-product decision, read AffiliateBase vs FirstPromoter.

What to bring to a vendor trial

Use the same evidence pack for each candidate: one active affiliate, a referral link, the checkout path, a recurring customer, a refunded sale and an unpaid commission. Record the expected outcome before testing. Keep unsupported requirements visible rather than assuming feature parity.

Narrow this shortlist with three decisions:

1

Map providers to campaigns

List the payment provider, currency, domain and commission model for each campaign. Mark any that cannot be moved without changing billing.
2

Use a demanding recurring case

Compare a trial converting to paid, a renewal, a cancellation and a refund. Recreate the commission result as well as the reported revenue.
3

Size the actual plan

Use affiliate revenue, campaign count, staff access and payout services to identify the plan you need. A lower entry price does not establish lower total cost.

Choosing a FirstPromoter alternative

Which FirstPromoter alternative should I choose?
Choose the candidate that passes your required checkout, campaign, reporting and payout tests. The shortlist groups products by use case; it does not establish a universal winner.
Can all my history move to a replacement?
Do not assume it. Agree on affiliate identities, existing links, recurring-customer attribution and unpaid commissions before migration. Data export availability does not prove a compatible importer exists.
What if my current platform already meets my requirements?
Retaining it can be the right decision. Compare the expected benefit with integration work, staff retraining and the risk of disrupting active affiliates.
